Dr. Chutani is a visionary leader with a laudable 30-year career that spans healthcare, technology, and media. His illustrious track record of generating billions in value and addressing complex challenges positions him as an invaluable asset to the RKTech team.
As the former CTO at Logitech, Dr.Chutani helped the company grow its revenue by more than $2B. His forward-thinking approach reshaped Logitech, enhancing its product suite and business model to meet the demands of a rapidly evolving market. He was the architect of a professional software engineering organization, established a venture arm to fund cutting-edge startups, and developed technology roadmaps that bolstered Logitech’s competitive advantage.
Dr. Chutani’s tenure as CEO of Mobisante, Inc. exemplifies his commitment to innovation and societal impact. Under his leadership, Mobisante pioneered mobile ultrasound technology, democratizing medical diagnostics and winning accolades, including the GSMA award for mHealth innovation. His strategy of integrating affordability with advanced technology-enabled healthcare providers offers improved care at reduced costs, boosting the power of tech-driven healthcare solutions.
Dr. Chutani has been at the forefront of innovation and leadership across the tech industry. As a Senior Director at Microsoft, he adeptly managed a $100 million exploratory research budget, leading to the creation of breakthrough products. At Oracle, his leadership in the Architecture and Strategy group was pivotal in standardizing web technologies. His research at Hewlett-Packard contributed to seminal work in network and systems management, culminating in published papers and patents.
He is also a celebrated communicator, with his insights featured in top-tier publications and his work showcased at Seattle’s Museum of History and Industry. Moreover, as an author and public speaker, Dr. Chutani’s book “Technology at the Margins” reflects his deep understanding of technology’s role in societal change, underscoring his reputation as a thought leader in the tech space.
