Rikkeisoft Announces $10 Million Investment in AI Healthcare Applications in Japan

December 16 – In the presence of Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính and representatives from ministries at the Vietnam-Japan Economic Forum, Rikkei Japan (a branch of Rikkeisoft in Japan) officially signed a partnership with Genetica Asia. This collaboration is aimed at harnessing AI technology for the advancement of precision medicine.

This investment will focus on developing AI-driven solutions for genetic analysis tailored to Japanese consumers. This initiative not only benefits individual consumers but also provides pharmaceutical companies and research institutions with access to transparent genetic data, enhancing precision medicine and genetic research in Asia.

Mr. Bui Quang Huy, CEO of Rikkei Japan, expressed that the AI technology developed through the partnership with Genetica will address critical health issues by offering personalized insights to prevent diseases like cancer, diabetes, and heart ailments. Additionally, this AI-driven analysis will contribute to bolstering the immune system.

Rikkeisoft has been instrumental in Japan, leading digital transformation projects that address societal challenges, including the aging population. Genetica, specializing in AI-based genetic analysis, is a part of Gene Friend Way, headquartered in San Francisco (USA), and advised by a team of expert scientists. Their genetic analysis chip, reputed for its 99% accuracy, is endorsed by Illumina, a world-renowned genomics organization.

Mr. Huy highlighted, “This strategic investment partnership is poised to boost the technological prowess of both Rikkeisoft and Rikkei Japan, diversifying our offerings with practical solutions for the public and the society at large.”

The $10 million investment is expected by both companies to herald a new era in precision medicine, providing patients and caregivers with state-of-the-art, optimal treatment modalities.

The Vietnam-Japan Economic Forum, an annual key event, is organized by Vietnam’s Ministry of Planning and Investment in collaboration with the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and other partners. This year’s forum witnessed participation from top-tier leaders from both nations, including Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính, the Minister of Planning and Investment, the Japanese Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry, the Chairman of JETRO, and representatives from various ministries and the Japan Business Association.
