Welcoming Mike C. Kaufmann: The New Strategic Advisor at RKTech
RKTech is thrilled to announce the appointment of Mike C. Kaufmann, a former Fortune 15 CEO, to the Board of Advisors at RKTech. With a distinguished career spanning over three decades in Cardinal Health, Mike brings a wealth of experience and expertise that will be invaluable to our company’s growth and strategic direction.
Mike’s career journey is marked by significant leadership roles at Cardinal Health, a global leader in integrated healthcare solutions. He joined Cardinal Health in 1990 and has since held various key positions, including President of the Medical Segment, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Executive Officer as his lastest position, demonstrating an exceptional ability to drive strategic initiatives and achieve substantial financial results. Mike’s tenure as CEO from 2018 to 2022 was particularly notable for his dynamic leadership and profound impact on the company’s growth trajectory.
Beyond his tenure at Cardinal Health, Mike has been an active board member and advisory board member at several prestigious organizations since 2015, including MSC Industrial, Monitored Therapeutics, Inc., RNA Disease Diagnostics, Ember LifeSciences, Celonis, Prescribe FIT, Safe Health, and HealthQuest Capital. His diverse experience across these organizations showcases his versatility and ability to contribute meaningfully in various sectors of the healthcare industry.
Mike is not just a seasoned executive but also a passionate advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). He has been instrumental in embedding DEI initiatives across Cardinal Health, establishing significant programs like the Black & African American Racial Equity Cabinet and the DE&I Steering Council. His efforts in this domain have not only fostered a more inclusive workplace but also ensured that these values are ingrained in the company’s fabric.
His commitment to leadership and DEI extends beyond his corporate roles. As an executive speaker, Mike shares valuable insights on leadership and advocates for DEI as essential components for business success and innovation.
